U.S. State Privacy Rights & Notice at Collection

This page provides a notice at collection and explains how residents of California and other U.S. states can make privacy requests where applicable law gives them those rights.

Effective date: March 13, 2026

Notice at Collection

At or before collection, we may collect identifiers such as email address and IP address, internet or other electronic network activity information, approximate geolocation derived from IP, subscription preferences, and optional names or other information you choose to provide.

We collect this information to operate the site, deliver requested emails, personalize requested content, prevent abuse, maintain security, comply with law, and measure site performance and usage.

State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and whether the applicable state law covers our processing activities, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.

Some state laws also provide rights to opt out of certain forms of targeted advertising, profiling, or the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of certain sensitive personal information where applicable.

How to Submit a Request

To submit a privacy request, email ops@lawyer-jokes.us with the subject line "Privacy Request" and describe the request you want to make.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests, and we may deny or limit requests where the law allows.

Authorized Agents and Appeals

If your state law allows an authorized agent to act for you, we may ask for proof of that authority before processing the request.

If we deny a request and your state law provides an appeal right, you may reply to our response and ask us to review the decision again.
